คำถามที่พบบ่อยเรื่อง ต้นไม้พรสวรรค์ ใน Rise of Kingdoms

A maxed commander at level 60 has 74 talent points. You get one point for each level gained, plus bonus points when the commander reaches 5 stars and 6 stars. Level cap is tied to stars: 1 star caps at 10, and each extra star adds 10 levels up to 60 at 6 stars. So a commander stuck at 4 or 5 stars can never fill a full build.

No. Only the primary commander's talent tree applies to the march. The secondary only contributes their skills. That is why the usual advice is to push your main primary to level 60 first, and only take secondaries far enough to unlock their skills (level 30 unlocks all four skill slots).

Open the commander's talent screen and use the reset option. It consumes a Talent Reset item, and if you have none it can be bought with gems (the shop price has been 1,000 gems). Talent Reset items also show up in event rewards and packs, so save them for when you change a commander's role.

You get back every talent point you spent on that commander and can reassign them right away. Level, stars, skills and expertise are not touched. The reset clears the whole tree, not individual nodes, so you rebuild from scratch.

• Pick the tree that matches what the commander will actually do (field, rally, garrison, barbs, gathering).
• Push that main tree far enough to grab its strongest end talent first.
• Put the next chunk into the second tree that supports it.
• Spill leftover points into the third tree only for cheap, useful nodes.

Spreading points evenly across all three trees almost always gives a weaker commander.

Go deep into the Infantry tree toward Elite Soldiers, which boosts infantry attack, defense and health but only works when the march is infantry only. Hold The Line (chance to take less damage) and the health nodes are the core. Then add Defense or Skill depending on whether the commander is a tank or a nuker. Many infantry builds also mix in Garrison instead if the commander is mostly used for city defense.

Main tree is Cavalry. Priority nodes are the attack and march speed ones plus Emblazoned Shield, which cuts skill damage taken in every fight. Cavalry is the field hunter troop, so speed matters to catch marches and retreat. The second tree is usually Mobility, Skill or Conquering depending on the commander's kit. Like other troop trees, the troop-only bonuses need a pure cavalry march.

Archer tree is only worth going deep if you run a pure archer march, because its best bonuses check for archers only. Take the archer attack and the skill damage nodes, then the capstone. Most archer commanders pair this with Skill (for nukers) or Garrison (for city defense). In mixed marches, put points in Leadership or Integration instead.

Leadership and Integration are the trees that reward running mixed troop types. Integration has nodes that boost damage when you have three or more unit types in the march. Leadership is about big marches and buffs for your units, and some of its nodes help rallies. In general a pure troop march with the matching troop tree beats a mixed one, so these are mostly early game or special case builds.

There is no single rally tree. Rally builds usually go deep in the commander's troop tree (pure infantry, cavalry or archer) and add Conquering, which boosts attacks on cities and structures. Leadership has a node that boosts the rallied army's attack when you lead a rally. For barbarian fort rallies, Peacekeeping also has rally bonuses. Only lead with a commander that is level 60 with skills unlocked, since rallies need every stat point.

Use the Garrison tree. Divine Favor is the capstone: it gives a chance for a damage absorbing shield while garrisoning. Impregnable (less skill damage taken), King's Guard, and the watchtower nodes Adamantine Walls and City Guardian are the usual must-haves. Pair it with Defense or Skill depending on the commander. Garrison talents do nothing in the open field, so it is a city defense only setup.

Use the Peacekeeping tree. Its key nodes reduce action point cost per attack, add damage and skill damage against barbarians and neutral units, and give heals after beating them. Pairing it with Skill helps nukers kill barbs in fewer hits. Plan to keep a couple of commanders on Peacekeeping for daily barb farming and fort rallies.

Max the Gathering tree. The capstone Superior Tools gives a big flat gathering speed boost, and the resource specific Gathering Mastery nodes add more for the type you farm most. A gatherer can reach Superior Tools around level 37, so you do not need level 60 for a good gatherer. Use a dedicated gatherer per resource type when you can.

Skill tree is for commanders whose damage comes from active skills (nukers). It gives rage generation and skill damage, so the nuke goes off more often and hits harder. It is not worth leading with too early, since it leaves the commander weaker in the level 30 to 40 range. Normal attack commanders get more from Attack, Defense or their troop tree.

These are newer specialties that only some commanders have. Smite is for commanders whose skills deal smite damage, Combo for commanders that trigger combo attacks, and Engineering for siege unit commanders and ranged mode fighting. If your commander has one of these, its build guide usually centers on that tree.

The rework updated older trees so they can deal with newer damage types. Attack, Defense and Support trees gained smite and combo related modifiers, which helps older tank and support commanders against smite heavy commanders. If you built a commander before the rework, recheck the build against current numbers before spending a reset.

No. The troop tree capstones that check for a single troop type only activate when the march is entirely that troop. Even a small mix turns them off. If you have to run mixed marches, put those points somewhere else.

No, only one set of talents is active at a time. To switch roles you need a reset. That is why many players keep separate commanders for garrison and open field, or pick builds that are acceptable in both and only reset for big events like KvK.

• Attack: boosts normal attack damage, good for commanders that hit with normal attacks.
• Defense: reduces damage taken and adds rage or healing when strength drops, the tank tree for field and flag defense.
• Support: buffs your own troop and nearby allies, with rage restore and healing related nodes.

Pick based on the commander's kit, not on the tree name.

Use them as a starting point, not gospel. Builds depend on the role, your pairing and whether you run pure or mixed troops, and balance patches change node values. Before spending a reset, check the build date and that it matches what you actually use the commander for.

Conquering boosts attacking other governors' cities and structures. It adds damage when attacking garrisons, cuts damage from watchtowers and lowers losses when attacking. It is mainly useful for rally leaders and city hitters, and pretty weak in plain open field fights.
