Story
Located in modern-day Cairo, Heliopolis was the cultural center of Ancient Egypt from prehistoric times up until well into the Roman Empire. Named "City of the Sun" by the Greeks, it was the home of the priests of the sun god Ra. A city of learning in the times of ancient Greece, it is said to have been visited many time by famous Greek philosophers and historians, including Orpheus, Homer, Plato, and Pythagoras.
