Hidden Lotus

The ethereal toll of the ringing bell adds a dash of mystery to the otherwise silent grounds. As you close your eyes and search your heart, you hear a rumbling between your breaths. You ponder life, the transition from nothingness to existence, and the return from existence to nothing, feeling as though you are one with the world. Just like a lotus, born of mud and yet perfect and unstained. Few people have ever reached this level.
