Docs Guide
Server builder
Builds a kingdom or KvK Discord server for you: roles, categories, channels and permissions.
Before you build
- 1
Give the bot Administrator. Without it, the Admin role is created without permissions and you have to set them yourself.
- 2
Write down your alliance tags, and their full names if you want them on the roles.
Kingdom server
- 1
Run /server-builder kingdom alliances: KOA=Knights of Avalon, ABC.
- 2
Turn off what you do not need: verification, calendar, mge, ark, commands, logs, content_feed. Turn on stat_docks for date, time and member count channels.
- 3
Read the preview: roles top to bottom, the channels it creates, and what it reuses.
- 4
Press Build. A progress message shows each step.
KvK server
- 1
Run /server-builder kvk map: your map camps: Fire: 1254 1688; Water: 2310.
- 2
Leave verify on for a how-to-verify channel. Turn on cross_kingdom if leaders may assign across their camp.
- 3
Press Build, then use /kvk role assign to hand out roles.
After the build
- 1
The bot commands channel already allows every command, and #bot-logs is the alert channel.
- 2
Set up verification, the calendar and MGE in the channels it made.
- 3
/server-builder status shows what is left to set up.
Undo
/server-builder undo deletes exactly what the last build created, after you confirm. Roles and channels you made yourself are never touched, but messages in the deleted channels are lost.
To try another layout, build again with replace: True. The last build is deleted first.
