MGE applications
Members apply in Discord, officers review and rank them, and the bot publishes the list and hands out the MGE role.
Prepare

Create two channels: #mge-signups where members apply, and #mge-review where only officers can read.

Write your MGE rules in a plain .txt file.

Decide the points per rank, top first, in millions. Text like Unlimited works for the first spot.
Set it up

Run /mge setup with the two channels, placement_points such as Unlimited, 22, 20, 18, 17, the signup_open_day and your rules file.

Leave mge_troop_type empty so the bot follows the MGE calendar.

Run /mge questions to choose the questions. 17 ready questions ship in 11 languages, and you can add your own.

Optional: /mge admin sets an MGE Admin role for officers who run MGE without being server admins.
The signup posts by itself at 00:00 UTC on the chosen day, in the week before the MGE. You do not need to come back each time.
How members apply

Members press Apply Here! on the signup post, or run /mge apply.

They pick their language, answer the questions, check their answers and submit.

They can edit or withdraw their application until signups close.
Review and rank

Each application appears in the Applications thread in your review channel, with Accept and Deny buttons.

Accept asks for a rank and moves the card to the Accepted thread. Deny moves it to Rejected, where Restore brings it back.

On the rankings post use Edit Rank, Edit Points, Swap and Remove to fix the order. /mge manual places someone who did not apply.
Publish

Press Publish on the rankings post and type CONFIRM.

The bot posts the final placements, closes signups and gives placed players the MGE role.

Need a change? Unpublish reopens it while signups are still in their window.
Download CSV on the rankings post gives you every application in a spreadsheet.
Turn it off
/mge deactivate stops new signups and keeps everything. Add wipe_data: True only if you want every MGE post, thread, role and record deleted. That cannot be undone.
