Verification

Members post a screenshot of their governor profile and get their alliance role and in-game name.

Set it up

  1. 1

Run /verification settings, or open the Verification page in the Discord Bot tab of your kingdom hub.

  2. 2

Pick the verification channels, up to 10. A screenshot in any of them verifies the member, so one channel per alliance works too.

  3. 3

Add each alliance: its tag as shown in the in-game brackets, its name, and the role its members get.

  4. 4

Optional: a verified role everyone in a registered alliance also gets, like Kingdom Member, and a fallback role for unknown alliances, like Guest.

  5. 5

    Switch verification on.

Without a fallback role, members of alliances you did not add are rejected.

What members do

  1. 1

Open their own governor profile in game, with the green Action Points bar visible.

  2. 2

Take a normal screenshot and post it in a verification channel, or use /verify image.

  3. 3

The bot gives the alliance role, renames them to their governor name and says welcome.

Useful options

Rename members sets each nickname to the exact governor name. Delete other messages keeps the verification channels clean; staff with Manage Messages can still talk.

Limits default to 5 attempts per member per day with 30 seconds between attempts.

Recent verifications shows who verified as whom, and why an attempt was rejected.

Common problems

Blurry or cropped screenshot: ask for a real screenshot, not a photo of a screen.

"Already verified by another member": one governor can only belong to one Discord account. Check who has it in Recent verifications.

Role not given: the bot's role must be above the alliance roles, and it needs Manage Roles and Manage Nicknames.
